Ìsàlè Èkó Day
Ìsàlè Èkó Day brings together indigenes, friends, and well-wishers from all over the world to a series of cultural immersion events that honor the shared history and showcases the vibrant spirit of Downtown Lagos (Ìsàlè Èkó), Nigeria.
Since 2018, The Ìsàlè Èkó Descendants’ Union (IDU), an apolitical, socio-cultural organisation founded for the promotion of education, heritage, and the oneness of Ìsàlè Èkó and its indigenes, has sponsored and collaborated with other corporate organisations to host the annual Ìsàlè Èkó Day events.
Each year, the best of Ìsàlè Èkó is put on display- history, rich culture, food, entertainment, tradition, and stimulating dialogue at its symposiums as a way to preserve legacy, as well as, to foster unity among Ìsàlè Èkó indigenes, friends and the general public.
Proud indigenes of Ìsàlè Èkó of all ages who are passionate about their hometown are encouraged to join and partner with us as we host Isale Eko Day 2025.
